heroes s3
So. Lots of my flist has been talking about Heroes' third season. Good, bad, mixed reactions.

I never actually finished watching season two. I don't have an explanation for this. *cough* So, um. Guys. Should I be watching season three despite not having seen season two? Should I actually be making an effort to finish season two rather than continually postponing it? Should I just give up on the franchise? I don't know.

Okay, I'm one of the few people who actually LIKED Season Two, but that was primarily because of the Kensei/Adam storyline, so if you watched it and had no interest in that storyline... Or any of the storylines, really, then... I don't know if it's really worth it, but considering Season Three is CRAZY AS FUCK even knowing all the canon, I really wouldn't skip anything if you intend to watch it.

And... I don't know. This season has a lot of potential and there's a few storylines I'm liking, but I'm not sure as a whole just yet. I'm easy to please though, so I'll probably wind up liking it and enjoying it.

...I remember liking Kensei. And the Matt/Mo/Molly storyline. And I can't remember if I liked Maya or if I've just retroactively developed that opinion after seeing a lot of people bash her for existing.

I don't know! *flails* It's not like I hated what I saw of S2, I just...have so far failed to motivate myself to watch the rest of it. CRAZY AS FUCK is a good incentive, though? I like CRAZY AS FUCK.

I'm sure you could probably watch a highlights version of S2 and be good to go for watching S3. I'm definitely finding this season to be interesting so far though. It's given me a lot of "Huh?" moments, which is good in my opinion.

That's definitely a good option, to get the gist of season two and then get caught up on S3. I'll see if I can track a highlights version down. "Huh?" moments can be verrrry good.

I strongly disliked season 2. In fact, I can hardly remember it. But season 3 seems a lot more promising so far. I say give it another chance. And if you watch it, maybe you'll get motivated to finish season 2. Grit your teeth and bear it, and all that.

Oh, good, I'm not alone. XD Hopefully S3 can recapture my interest? 'Cause I kind of miss Hiro and Matt and everybody cool.

Yeah, they'll mention something now and I'll be like "... wait, what? What happened again?" and have to call my friend, or something. Or just let it go and move on.

Hiro's gonna be big again. Not sure about Matt. His beginning is not so promising. But it has some potential.

I thought season 2 was crap. I loved Adam, but aside from that? Bleh.

Season 3, however, is HORRID. Absolutely horrid.

But I think you should at least try to watch it.

Make the effort, so if I can't stand it I can at least say I stopped watching for a good reason?

I REMEMBER ADAM BEING COOL, I JUST CAN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING MUCH MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT HIM THAN THAT. *hides*

Yes. That's how it works. You can't bash it until you've seen it.

He... was British. That's something. And hot. And immortal.

And was killing the old members of the group (Hiro's dad, other people) because they locked him up because bad in the 70s they made up some virus thing and he wanted to set it off, then he escaped and tricked Peter into helping him get the virus and he was almost able to release it but Peter stopped it, the Hiro went and randomly buried him underground.

To be fair, I haven't been bashing it. Just kind of ignoring it.

British and hot and immortal is good? And dark endings like getting randomly buried undergound are very good. I like dark.

I'm not ready to give up on Heros yet, but its going downhill if you ask me. Maybe season three will be great I dont know. I'd watch season 2 first though if you can just so you don't stare at the screen going WTF!

Makes sense...I enjoyed season one, somehow season two lost me, and I know next to nothing about season three except that apparently its high in the WTFcrack factor. I'll see if I can motivate myself to get through S2.
